World Wide Dutch Tutor provides independent online support to Dutch-speaking and Flemish students attending international schools around the world. Our support is intended for students who take Dutch A: Literature at Standard Level through their own school via the School-Supported Self-Taught (SSST) route, as well as for students who are preparing to follow this pathway.
When a school does not offer Dutch as a regular subject, a student may, under certain conditions, take Dutch A: Literature SL through their own school. The school remains responsible for the official organisation and delivery of the subject. The school registers the student, appoints a supervisor and ensures that the applicable programme and assessment requirements are met.
World Wide Dutch Tutor acts as an independent external tutor. We do not independently offer the Diploma Programme. Our teachers support students with reading and analysing literary works, developing oral and written skills, planning their studies and preparing for the various assessment components as determined by the school and the student.

Who is World Wide Dutch Tutor for?
Our support is intended for Dutch-speaking and Flemish students who speak Dutch at home or have Dutch as a strong first language. They often live outside the Netherlands or Flanders and attend an international school or international online school.
Some of our students take Dutch A: Literature SL through the School-Supported Self-Taught (SSST) route within their own school’s Diploma Programme.
We also support students who have not yet started the Diploma Programme but want to prepare specifically for future studies in the Dutch language and literature.
Personalised one-to-one support
Every student receives a weekly private online lesson with a dedicated, qualified Dutch teacher. The support is fully tailored to the student’s level, learning needs, interests and schedule. During the lessons, students learn to read and interpret literary works carefully, critically and analytically; write clear, well-structured and well-supported texts; and formulate, present and defend ideas convincingly. The teacher also supports students in planning and completing larger reading and writing assignments step by step. By learning how to apply feedback effectively, students gradually become more independent and purposeful in their work.
The package price is fully inclusive: weekly private lessons, teaching materials, postage, preparation, marking, progress evaluations and, where necessary, communication with the school are all included in the price. This means there are no unexpected additional costs.

When a school does not offer Dutch as a regular subject, the School-Supported Self-Taught (SSST) route may be an option in certain circumstances. World Wide Dutch Tutor provides additional, independent support alongside the school’s official programme.
Students receive weekly one-to-one support from a dedicated, qualified Dutch teacher. We provide guidance with reading and analysing literary works, writing, oral skills, planning and independent study.
The support is tailored to the selected literary works, the student’s level and the school’s schedule.
