The IB-DP offers students the Dutch A-programme, standard level: Literatuur SSST (School Supported Self-Taught Programme). This is a two-part program and is not intended for school use. The student will be required to take the exam in the middle of the school year where he will be assigned to an external World Wide IB Dutch tutor.

SSST stands for School Supported Self-Taught. It is an option within the IB Diploma Programme that allows students to study their mother tongue as one of their six subjects, even if this language is not taught at school. Under the supervision of a school supervisor and an external tutor, students can follow the Language A: Literature programme, but only at Standard Level (SL). This programme lasts two years and prepares students for the Dutch A: Literature exam.
