Primary Years Programme (PYP)
An IB diploma is recognized by Dutch authorities as equivalent to the VWO. The IB Diploma Programme is the program for the last two years of the IB curriculum, for students approximately 16-19 years old, comparable to the 5th and 6th grades of the VWO secondary education. The IBDP curriculum consists of six subject groups: Language Acquisition, Studies in Language and Literature, Individuals and Societies, Mathematics, The Arts, and Science. A student chooses six subjects, one from each of the six subject groups. At least three subjects must be chosen at Higher Level (HL) and three subjects at Standard Level (SL). Most universities consider the completion of the IBDP as sufficient proof for admission to the respective university.

During the lessons, there is also room for self-development and reflection. Children learn that they are important themselves. They learn what they can do for a good living environment and a good future.
Many IB world schools use this student profile to give students insight into how they stand in the world, what their role in the community is, and to convey that they have responsibilities towards themselves and their environment.
The progress and goal of the Dutch lessons are discussed with the parents and the student.
Mission of the International Baccalaureate
The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. The organization does this by working with schools, governments, and international organizations to develop challenging international education programs and rigorous assessments. It invites students around the world to become active, compassionate, lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.

Kindergarden
38 lessen van 30 minuten
- Afsluitende methode toets per onderdeel;
- Wekelijkse huiswerk e-mail en begeleiding;
- Rechtstreek contact met de IB tutor op de dagschool;
- Twee rapporten (december en juni);
- Twee 10 minuten gesprekken (december en juni) over Skype over het rapport met ouders;
- Benodigde lesmaterialen;
- Verzendkosten lesmaterialen wereldwijd.
Leerlingen doorlopen één leerjaar per schooljaar. Maken spelenderwijs kennis met de Nederlandse taal, klanken en letters.
